Baby #2
It’s no secret that Louie and I want a second! If and when that time comes, there’s some things we’d have to get. But mostly things I’d want to get :) Here are a few of those…
We’d definitely need another Nanit Baby Monitor and a Newton Crib Mattress. We’ve loved both of these products with Reese and would need another for baby #2.
I’m very intrigued by the Mockingbird Stoller. I’m the mom who stops other moms and ask for their opinion when I see something new. And everyone raves about this stoller, espically for 2 kids. I guess it depends on Reese’s age at that point too.
I reallllly want the Newton Bassinet! I hated our bassinet we used with Reese and never fully felt “at ease” with her sleeping in it. It was smaller and I always worried because it wasn’t breathable. The Newton one is 100% breathable just like their crib mattress, has a larger sleeping area (5.5” bigger than most) and you can adjust the height.
A better rocking chair!!!! The one we got for Reese was from Wayfair. It wasn’t cheap but also not super pricey. As a first time mom, I cared so much about the look of things. I still do now! But some things just aren’t worth the look anymore. If we have a second, I’m definitely splurging (don’t tell Louie) and getting a big, comfy Pottery Barn one. I had no clue how much time I would be spending in that chair. Even still today when she’s almost a year and a half. Rocking, reading, sleeping (yes, me sleeping in it) and feeding. So. Much. Time. I didn’t realize that I didn’t love ours until I sat in Emily’s and my sisters. They both have plush, oversized chairs and I was obsessed. So, needless to say…I’m getting a better quality and spending the extra money on a new one!
