Thank you for joining me on my journey! My name is Dayna Maier. I’m 35 and live in Rochester, NY. I’m married and have a daughter named Reese. I was a 1st grade teacher for 13 years and a cheer coach for 10 years before becoming a mom. Now, I stay at home with Reese!

This new chapter allows me to share all my favorite affordable things! A mom on a mission to live out her dream as a SAHM, share her story, AND connect through home styling, outfits and kids.

I was born and raised in Rochester. I actually grew up next door to my now husband, Louie. After high school, I moved to North Carolina to attend The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education while also cheering for the Forty-Niners! In August 2010, I began teaching, coaching high school cheerleading, and working towards my Master’s Degree, which I obtained in K-12 Literacy Education.

After being in a long distance relationship with Louie for five years, I moved back home to Rochester in July of 2015 and began teaching and coaching. Louie and I got engaged in July 2020 (yes, we dated for 10 years before he proposed) and married on June 12, 2021. Fun fact, we got married on my parents 39th wedding anniversary!

My pregnancy journey was tough and one that has changed me forever. I have another post about it if you want to know more. I got pregnant with Reese shortly after we got married and our daughter was born on her due date, July 16, 2022.

I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to stay at home with our daughter. Everyone says this time goes by quick so I am trying to soak it all in!
